The Crab and the Fox - Aesop's fables

How soft and warm is the sand on the beach! -said a crab that was looking for food.

Then, the crab climbed a rock to catch something to quench his hunger, when he was discovered by a fox who was also in the same hurry.

The cunning fanned the wit and ceremonial said:
-Good morning, buddy! How is your health?

To this, the crustacean replied:

-Very bad, madam; Food is scarce.

"There are many insects here," the raposa hinted, "get off if you like and you will eat."

The untouched crab obeyed, but fell into the fox's jaws. Before dying he sentenced:

-I deserved death I have for wanting to survive on earth, being a creature of the sea!

Head without a head, is of little weight.
