The Vineyard and The Goat - Aesop's fables

When spring returns, the fruit trees begin to green and their turbulent buds announce that they will soon be adorned with flowers and appetizing fruits.

This was the case with a vineyard that was prodigal in buds and tender leaves.

A goat who had entered, God knows how, walked among the vines, saying:

- How magnificent and tender are the shoots. And nibbled avidly here and there.

Then, the vineyard, bothered by the goat's predatory behavior, issued this warning:

-Why do you worry about hurting me? Do you think that in this way I will not give the wine necessary for when they sacrifice you?
